A ski tube is quite simply an air filled inner tube that is pulled at high speeds behind a boat. Fairly simple concept right? Well it is.

Ski tubes today are made rugged, they can take the abuse of being towed at high speeds behind a boat. They can take the abuse of constantly bouncing and jumping the wake. They are comfortable, fun and just about anyone can do it. It doesn’t take the balance and dexterity that water skiing does, nope it’s much simpler.

There are many different styles and types of ski tubes available today. There are ski tubes for single riders and there are ski tubes for up to four riders and everywhere in between. There are even some ski tubes that will glide in the air!

Ski tubes are filled with air and can be somewhat challenging to fill if you are just going to use manpower or girlpower. I would recommend an air pump. They have foot powered air pumps, regular old hand powered air pumps, rechargeable air pumps and electric air pumps.
